As previously posted, my daughter suffers from Nephrotic Syndrome and needs to add, avoid or remove specific foods from her diet.
The nutritional requirements are as normal except:
- Loss of proteins needs to be taken into account but very high protein intake avoided so a moderate protein intake is advised
- Sodium/Salt intake should be low
- Fat intake should be kept at a minimum
So I went on a search for every day foods but with the above specifications and foods that a 3 year old would eat. Here's what I found....
