In these tough economic times I am really grateful to have a stable, reasonably well-paid job with excellent management and great colleagues.

Occasionally however I have days that FOR ME highlights some short-comings in people. Especially when we're short-staffed and I'm doing 3 people's work BY MYSELF and not for a moment slacking in doing my own work...IOW days when I'm clearly over-worked one expects not EXEMPLARY, not OUTSTANDING, not even SUPERB work ethic and service.... NO!!!! one just expects people/departments who you depend on in order to get your job done, to make clients happy, to make the company more successful which subsequently would afford you as a staff member to receive bonuses and incentives...all one (ME), expects from others is simply to do your job. Nothing more, nothing less....how hard is it to do that????

Anyway, once again I am left wondering IS IT ME? Am I the only blasted lunatic who thinks it's abnormal to diddle-daddle when there's tons of things to do. Or do I perhaps enjoy overburdening myself with things that won't cause another World War if not done?!?! My motto has always been 'finish things now, truly relax with a clear head later'. I guess it's just one of my weaknesses. I am a hard worker so I tend to expect every one to work just as hard as I am and also pull their weight...wait, no that's not entirely true. The bottom-line is I don't care if you loaf around all day but when it impacts me I find it a bit difficult to deal with.

How do you overlook things when they irk you so much!! Who knows, let's see what tomorrow brings. HAPPY FRIDAY TO ME!! :-)
