When deeds speak, words are nothing. ~African Proverb
My car:
TOT TOOOOOT TOOT TOOOOTTT
I mumble to myself:
Roll down your window stupid bitch!
The lady driver says:
What??
I say: Your indicator is on!
She says: Oh, sorry…..
"Oh sorry", as simple as that!
Your intention and your indication should always be the same or you might just crash and find yourself in an unpleasant and even deadly situation. A lady nearly drove into me as I thought she was going to turn and not drive straight. I wasn't wrong in my thinking after all; this was the signal she gave by indicating to turn-off. I don't know what she was thinking, was she half-asleep, oblivious to the indicator sound or the flickering light. All I know is that she was mere centimetres away from crashing into me and changing the course of my day and the days/weeks to follow.
Accidents happen regularly and most could have been avoided. In everyday life, just like in driving the intention and action scenario always applies. Your aims/goals and hints/acts should not conflict as this leads to confusion and someone is always left wounded.
Just my observation about wrong signals and how fatal it could be…glad, my car and I are both still in one piece :)
Ramadaan Kareem to all….
Each day has it's routines but some days are better or worse than others...
