So, 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I cannot stop eating
ANAT PLENTY 4 TWENTY
I can hardly finish a meal on most days, swallowing my
prenatal vitamins is hard work and a lot of the things I used to like I can’t
stand, yet when it comes to lunch I am always happy to chow down a wonderfully
delicious and oh so cheap ANAT “Plenty 4 Twenty” wrap.
They say food cravings mean something. Like whatever you hunger
for is related to what is lacking in your diet. But I don’t know, just how much
chilli, humus, cabbage, brinjal, chicken and floured wraps do I need to satisfy
whatever is lacking in my body? So I don’t think it’s necessarily a lack of
something that causes the craving, my craving is definitely not nutrition
related. Pregnant women the world over experience these cravings.
When I was pregnant with my daughter I distinctly
remember loving Niknaks. I HATE NIKNAKS! I have not liked Niknaks all my life.
It was a snack I avoided as a kid and in general I don’t like cheesy chips but
when I was pregnant with my daughter I craved Niknaks.
This time around some of the things I like ALOT:
- Salt & Vinegar anything
- Granny Smith Apples
- Anything from ANAT
- Ice cold coke (has to be ice cold)
- Peri Peri chicken pie from Pie City
- Double Cream Yoghurts
- Greek Salad with plenty of dressing
- Sundried Tomato Soup
- Tea but only with condensed milk
- Avocado Pears (eaten as is with a little or a lot of salt)
- Strawberry Milkshakes from WIMPY
- Coffee
- Chicken pieces (like fillet chicken or other big cuts)
- Bread
- Cake
- Biscuits
- Pasta
- Chocolate
- Ice
- Chocolate
- Spicy Foods
- Pickles
- Potato Chips
- Fruit
- Lemon
- Icecream
- Soda
- Coffee
